The Great Lakes Pastel Society will hold its Members Exhibit at the Carnegie Center for the Arts in Three Rivers, Michigan. The exhibit will run from June 21 through September 7.
Click here for the announcement. It's a great place to view a variety of pastel painting styles and genres!
I will have two paintings showing at the event (see below).
"Way Up North on Long Lake" is heading for its second exhibit. It was first displayed at the AAWA Spring Juried Show in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in March. This painting was inspired by a Thanksgiving Day Weekend stay at a cabin on Long Lake in Phelps, Wisconsin, near the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
"Stairway to Thunder Hole" (below) was inspired by a hike at Acadia National Park in December.
The Carnegie exhibit runs almost all summer, so I hope you can make it!
