Two upcoming venues will exhibit work of local artists including a selection of my landscape pastel paintings.
The Clinton Arts Center is hosting "Local Inspiration, A Salon Style Exhibit," starting October 12 and running through December 28, with a reception scheduled for October 28th.
The Clinton Art Center is located at 115 West Michigan Avenue, Clinton, MI. The art center is situated in a renovated historic building that features a restaurant and bar, classroom facilities and plenty of exhibit space, having recently hosted an exhibit from the Detroit Institute of the Arts (DIA).
Here is a view of the center and the restaurant below, from the upstairs open art gallery.
The exhibit is shown below. There are a variety of mediums including oil, watercolor, acrylic and pastel.
The Clinton Arts Center is open daily except for Mondays. I encourage you to take the short trip from the Ann Arbor area to visit the art center. Click here and see what the team has built to encourage the arts and revitalization of this historic downtown.
My next exhibit will be held at the Saline District Library in Saline, Michigan. The exhibit of 30 landscape pastel paintings will run from Saturday, January 26 through Friday, March 29th. More about this show as we get closer to the start date.
Hope you can make it to these two events!
